I am pleased to announce that the charities of choice for The Premier's Cup 2007 are The TCI National Kidney Foundation and The Drug Prevention Foundation. Message from the Committee President
It is indeed an honor and a privilege to bring greetings to you as President of The Annual Premier's Cup. To our many visitors and residents alike, it is a pleasure to welcome and invite you to this charitable event that promises to be an exciting experience.
The dedication, support and commitment of our committee members ensure the continued development in the sport of golf and enhancement of the athletic growth seen daily in the Turks & Caicos Islands.
"The Turks & Caicos Drug Prevention Foundation" and "The TCI National Kidney Foundation" are the proud recipients of this year's charity choice of The Premier's Cup. The role of these two organizations is instrumental in bringing awareness to these issues facing our society. The prevention of substance abuse within our communities requires the attention and commitment of caring individuals to educate and provide assistance, especially to our youths and their welfare. Individuals and their families affected by kidney disease has the dedication and support of the National Kidney Foundation who educate on early detection, better management and prevention of kidney disease by providing information and physician resources which continue to improve the health of those affected.
We are enthusiastic and genuinely supportive about the Premier's Cup outreach to the community at large and the difference it has made and continues to make in the lives of those who are in need of assistance and inspiration to strive towards their goals.
The Committee and I wish to convey our sincere gratitude and commend the former President of The Premier's Cup, Mrs. Althea Ewing-Williams, for her hard work and commitment which resulted in the success we have experienced over the years and wish her well in all her future endeavours.

I am overwhelmed to have been asked to bring greetings during this fourth hosting of the "Premier's Cup" Annual Charity Golf Tournament.
This is indeed an auspicious occasion as this event is fast becoming one of the premier sporting events in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
We look forward to a keen and competitive tournament as you display your skills on the golf course. I take this opportunity to extend a warm and cordial welcome to our visitors. It is my wish that you enjoy the warm hospitality that is unique to the Turks & Caicos.
I congratulate the Premier and the organizing committee for their hard work, dedication and commitment in bringing this event to this level. As we continue our efforts to develop sports tourism in these islands, I can see this event playing center stage.

2007 is a year that will go down in the history of the Turks and Caicos Islands as one of the most productive of all times in sports history. This year our confidence level rose well and beyond our wildest imaginations, when we as a people hosted such a most prestigious and ultimate sporting event within the Caribbean; and my colleagues this is just the beginning of greater things to come.
On this the 4th Annual "Premier's Cup", I am deeply honored to pen these few words on behalf of the above-mentioned Associations of which I preside over.
